I too had the question of how T-cell data they recorded translates to severe disease outcomes. On paper a 7-8 times drop in the mRNA vaccines vs the adenovirus vaccines seems relevant but I have no clue what the real world meaning of that it is. The authors do comment, "With all three vaccines, T-cell responses showed broad cross-reactivity against SARS-CoV-2 variants (Fig. S6)." but this is as far as they elaborate..
